# Glapp vs OffGrid Dose

The clearest difference is monetization model: Glapp at free against OffGrid Dose's free with in-app purchases. Glapp also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 1) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). OffGrid Dose's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Glapp sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and OffGrid Dose sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OffGrid Dose holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Glapp has 1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Glapp ships an update every 8 days, OffGrid Dose every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
