# Aurora Hills vs Ghost Case

The clearest difference is rating: Aurora Hills at 4.9 against Ghost Case's 4.5. Aurora Hills also leads on ratings volume (677 vs 11). Ghost Case's advantage is price ($2.99 vs $3.99). On review sentiment, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Aurora Hills costs $3.99 and Ghost Case $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Aurora Hills holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aurora Hills has 677 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 95% of Aurora Hills's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ghost Case's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Aurora Hills ships an update every 4 weeks, Ghost Case monthly. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
