# TestAssist vs retention+

The clearest difference is ads: retention+ at none against TestAssist's shown. TestAssist's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TestAssist sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and retention+ sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
