# Macaron Sky vs Merge Ring

The clearest difference is update cadence: Macaron Sky at every 4 days against Merge Ring's every 2 months. Merge Ring's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Macaron Sky sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Merge Ring sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
