# Sidekick vs GigTern

The clearest difference is update cadence: GigTern at every 2 days against Sidekick's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sidekick sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and GigTern sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sidekick ships an update weekly, GigTern every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
