# AquaPlan vs Tidey

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tidey at every 2 weeks against AquaPlan's every 4 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AquaPlan sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Tidey sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AquaPlan ships an update every 4 weeks, Tidey every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
