# RealSpeak vs GemSeer

The clearest difference is rating: RealSpeak at 4.4 against GemSeer's 3.0. RealSpeak also leads on ratings volume (623 vs 2) and review sentiment (70% vs 50%). GemSeer's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RealSpeak sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and GemSeer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RealSpeak holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RealSpeak has 623 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of RealSpeak's written reviews are positive against 50% of GemSeer's.

RealSpeak ships an update every 2 weeks, GemSeer every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
