# 79Cloud vs SmartKeyApp

The clearest difference is update cadence: SmartKeyApp at every 4 days against 79Cloud's fortnightly. SmartKeyApp also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

79Cloud ships an update fortnightly, SmartKeyApp every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 14, 2026 respectively.
