# BlockIt vs VisionLock

The clearest difference is ads: VisionLock at none against BlockIt's shown. BlockIt's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 8 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BlockIt sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and VisionLock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
