# Step N Scroll vs DoomWalk

The clearest difference is update cadence: Step N Scroll at every 2 days against DoomWalk's every 3 weeks. DoomWalk's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Step N Scroll sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and DoomWalk sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Step N Scroll ships an update every 2 days, DoomWalk every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
