# Sessions vs Melt

The clearest difference is device support: Melt at 3 against Sessions's 1. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sessions sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Melt sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sessions ships an update every 4 months, Melt every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
