# Team Chess vs Gambito Puzzles

The clearest difference is update cadence: Gambito Puzzles at every 4 days against Team Chess's every 3 weeks. Gambito Puzzles also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Team Chess sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and Gambito Puzzles sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Team Chess ships an update every 3 weeks, Gambito Puzzles every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 10, 2026.
