# Heartlog vs Pet Tracker

The clearest difference is update cadence: Heartlog at fortnightly against Pet Tracker's every 2 months. Heartlog also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Heartlog sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Pet Tracker sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Heartlog ships an update fortnightly, Pet Tracker every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
