# GoNotes+ vs PDF Scan

The clearest difference is ads: PDF Scan at none against GoNotes+'s shown. PDF Scan also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.4). GoNotes+'s advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 3 days). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoNotes+ sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and PDF Scan sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GoNotes+ ships an update daily, PDF Scan every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
