# Proxy vs Cocktail Connect

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cocktail Connect at every 2 days against Proxy's weekly. Proxy's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Proxy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Cocktail Connect sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Proxy ships an update weekly, Cocktail Connect every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
