# Gessit vs Plot Twist(ed)

The clearest difference is update cadence: Plot Twist(ed) at every 3 days against Gessit's every 9 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gessit sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Plot Twist(ed) sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gessit ships an update every 9 days, Plot Twist(ed) every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
