# Word Solitaire Connect vs Solitaire Connections

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Solitaire Connections at 100% against Word Solitaire Connect's 50%. Word Solitaire Connect's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (158 vs 13). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Word Solitaire Connect sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Solitaire Connections sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Word Solitaire Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Word Solitaire Connect has 158 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Word Solitaire Connect's written reviews are positive against 100% of Solitaire Connections's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Word Solitaire Connect ships an update weekly, Solitaire Connections every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
