# Splitpay vs SplitPlease

The clearest difference is update cadence: SplitPlease at every 3 days against Splitpay's every 3 weeks. Splitpay's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Splitpay sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and SplitPlease sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Splitpay ships an update every 3 weeks, SplitPlease every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
