# Moïchi vs Five Year Diary

The clearest difference is update cadence: Five Year Diary at every 9 days against Moïchi's every 4 weeks. Five Year Diary also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Moïchi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Five Year Diary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Moïchi ships an update every 4 weeks, Five Year Diary every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
