# AppLimit vs Habit Tracker

AppLimit and Habit Tracker are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. AppLimit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Habit Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AppLimit ships an update every 4 days, Habit Tracker every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
