# MENtality vs dopaMINE

The clearest difference is rating: dopaMINE at 5.0 against MENtality's 4.3. dopaMINE also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). MENtality's advantage is ratings volume (25 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MENtality sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and dopaMINE sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

dopaMINE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MENtality has 25 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MENtality ships an update every 2 weeks, dopaMINE every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
