# EngNotes vs Read.md

The clearest difference is device support: Read.md at 4 against EngNotes's 2. On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EngNotes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Read.md sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
