# Appucchino vs Sously

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sously at every 5 days against Appucchino's every 2 weeks. Sously also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Appucchino sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Sously sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Appucchino ships an update every 2 weeks, Sously every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
