# Connect vs Scry

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Connect at none against Scry's 3. Connect also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Scry's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scry sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Connect ships an update every 5 weeks, Scry fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
