# Turngrid vs Total Synthesis

Turngrid and Total Synthesis both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Total Synthesis's written reviews are positive against 64% of Turngrid's. Total Synthesis also leads on ads (none vs shown). Turngrid's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 4). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Turngrid sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Total Synthesis sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Turngrid against 5.0 for Total Synthesis. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Turngrid has 1.9K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
