# Petales vs Heave

The clearest difference is ads: Petales at none against Heave's shown. Heave's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Petales sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Heave sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Petales ships an update every 3 weeks, Heave every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 5, 2026.
