# The Long Way vs Flock Camera Map

The clearest difference is review sentiment: The Long Way at 43% against Flock Camera Map's 0%. The Long Way also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Flock Camera Map's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and rating (4.2 vs 3.9). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Long Way sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Flock Camera Map sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flock Camera Map holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flock Camera Map has 58 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. The Long Way ships an update every 2 months, Flock Camera Map every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
