# StepX vs Just Walk

The clearest difference is update cadence: Just Walk at every 10 days against StepX's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepX sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Just Walk sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StepX ships an update monthly, Just Walk every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
