# VimKey vs Pocket Board

The clearest difference is device support: VimKey at 3 against Pocket Board's 1. VimKey also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VimKey sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pocket Board sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VimKey ships an update every 4 days, Pocket Board every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
