# Tempo vs Vision Note

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vision Note at every 8 days against Tempo's monthly. Tempo's advantage is iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tempo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Vision Note sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tempo ships an update monthly, Vision Note every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
