# Falling Filter vs Falling Filter

The clearest difference is rating: Falling Filter at 2.3 against Falling Filter's 1.5. Falling Filter also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). Falling Filter's advantage is ratings volume (42 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Falling Filter holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Falling Filter has 42 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Falling Filter's written reviews are positive against 8% of Falling Filter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
