# Raft Evolution vs SmashBall Up

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Raft Evolution at 100% against SmashBall Up's 71%. Raft Evolution also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). SmashBall Up's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (56 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Raft Evolution sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and SmashBall Up sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SmashBall Up holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmashBall Up has 56 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Raft Evolution's written reviews are positive against 71% of SmashBall Up's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
