# Raft Evolution vs Plot Twist

Raft Evolution and Plot Twist both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Raft Evolution's written reviews are positive against 71% of Plot Twist's. Raft Evolution also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Plot Twist's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (16 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Raft Evolution sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Plot Twist sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Raft Evolution against 4.4 for Plot Twist. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Plot Twist has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Raft Evolution's written reviews are positive against 71% of Plot Twist's.

Raft Evolution ships an update every 2 months, Plot Twist every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on August 22, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
