# MIDIWeb Browser vs EP

The clearest difference is update cadence: MIDIWeb Browser at every 6 days against EP's monthly. EP's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MIDIWeb Browser sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and EP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MIDIWeb Browser ships an update every 6 days, EP monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
