# WispPGP vs Pocket

The clearest difference is price: Pocket at Free against WispPGP's $3.99. Pocket also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). WispPGP's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.7) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On ratings volume, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Pocket is free to download; WispPGP costs $3.99 up front. Pocket sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. WispPGP asks for nothing beyond the download.

WispPGP holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of WispPGP's written reviews are positive against 100% of Pocket's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WispPGP ships an update every 2 weeks, Pocket weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
