# Preacher Notes vs Passage

The clearest difference is update cadence: Passage at daily against Preacher Notes's every 3 weeks. Passage also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Preacher Notes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Passage sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
