# SoberQuest vs StepMaxx Pedometer

The clearest difference is ads: SoberQuest at none against StepMaxx Pedometer's shown. SoberQuest also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoberQuest sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and StepMaxx Pedometer sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
