# Prayer Pause vs Ihsan Mode

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ihsan Mode at none against Prayer Pause's 3. Ihsan Mode also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 days). Prayer Pause's advantage is ratings volume (102 vs 5) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prayer Pause sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Ihsan Mode asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ihsan Mode holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prayer Pause has 102 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Prayer Pause ships an update every 6 days, Ihsan Mode every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
