# BoxScore vs CollegeWatch

The clearest difference is update cadence: CollegeWatch at daily against BoxScore's fortnightly. BoxScore's advantage is chart position (#151 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BoxScore sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and CollegeWatch sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BoxScore ships an update fortnightly, CollegeWatch daily. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
