# iShotit vs Whisper Caption

The clearest difference is rating: Whisper Caption at 5.0 against iShotit's 2.0. iShotit's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iShotit sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Whisper Caption sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Whisper Caption holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively.

iShotit ships an update weekly, Whisper Caption every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
