# InterviewGenie vs XV

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: InterviewGenie at 18.0 against XV's 26.5. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. InterviewGenie sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and XV sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

InterviewGenie ships an update every 5 months, XV every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
