# Rhythm Reader vs Beat Scribe

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Rhythm Reader at 13.0 against Beat Scribe's 17.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rhythm Reader sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Beat Scribe sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
