# ArchFlowy vs MindPen

The clearest difference is update cadence: MindPen at every 6 days against ArchFlowy's every 2 weeks. MindPen also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ArchFlowy sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and MindPen sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ArchFlowy ships an update every 2 weeks, MindPen every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
