# Pact vs LightScroll

The clearest difference is update cadence: LightScroll at every 9 days against Pact's every 2 months. Pact's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pact sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and LightScroll sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pact ships an update every 2 months, LightScroll every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
