# Note Fold vs Count It

The clearest difference is ads: Count It at none against Note Fold's shown. Note Fold's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note Fold sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Count It sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Note Fold ships an update every 3 days, Count It every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 15, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
