# FirstSeed Notes vs ViewMind

The clearest difference is update cadence: FirstSeed Notes at every 11 days against ViewMind's monthly. ViewMind's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FirstSeed Notes sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and ViewMind sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FirstSeed Notes ships an update every 11 days, ViewMind monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
