# Salah First vs Deen Lock

The clearest difference is monetization model: Salah First at free with in-app purchases against Deen Lock's subscription. Salah First also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). Deen Lock's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Salah First sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Deen Lock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Deen Lock holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Salah First has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Salah First ships an update every 3 days, Deen Lock every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
