# Beside vs Luff

The clearest difference is update cadence: Beside at every 2 days against Luff's fortnightly. Beside also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Beside sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Luff sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Beside ships an update every 2 days, Luff fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
