# Acupet vs Kartei

The clearest difference is update cadence: Kartei at every 2 days against Acupet's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Acupet sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per month and Kartei sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Acupet ships an update weekly, Kartei every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
