# Prod vs Screen Time Control

The clearest difference is rating: Screen Time Control at 4.0 against Prod's 3.0. Screen Time Control also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Prod's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prod sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Screen Time Control sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
